Basics 1-2-3

  1. Start Picturethrill program.
  2. Click "Wallpaper" button.
  3. Close Picturethrill program.

That's it!

Now you will get a new image on your Wallpaper Desktop Background every single day.


In addition to friendly UI, Picturethrill also supports following command-line options:

Picturethrill.exe Options

-? Display this help message
-d DirectoryName Specify directory where to place downloaded images
-q Quiet mode, no UI

By specifying Quiet mode, you can create a task with Windows Task Scheduler to download latest images on daily basis in automated mode.

Picturethrill.exe -q


In addition, Picturethrill now supports command-line options, so that it's easy to automate downloading to your preferred folder on your hard drive and use as wallpaper right away. Use command-line options from your automated script or you can simply create a task with Windows Task Scheduler to run Picturethrill on daily basis.

To run in automated mode:
Picturethrill.exe -q
